It's catchy...it's high-energy...it's timeless. It's Hard Rock Music. And because it's coming back into favor with critics and mass media alike, many bands are quickly jumping on the band wagon. But not Gainesville's Hollow Days. They've been sweating it out in Florida's club scene, bringing the music they know and love directly to the people, giving 110% every night, whether they're playing in front of 1,400 or 14. Creating music inspired by Guns 'N Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Black Sabbath and The Doors, Hollow Days write songs original yet somehow familiar.

Nick Estes (vocals) Joe Herchel (guitar) Joe Parker (bass) and Luke Pidgeon (drums) have a natural chemistry that makes their music connect with the audience instantly. Crafting songs with strong hooks, soaring choruses and killer grooves, they have built a strong following throughout the state, playing regularly from Ft. Myers to Jacksonville, Tallahassee to West Palm Beach and everywhere in between. This is no "hobby" for the guys in Hollow Days, it's a way of life.

It was Joe who thought of the band's name. "I think it's an artist's job to reflect his times. When I first met Nick he talked about his appreciation for The Doors. The Doors had an album out in the late '60's called 'Strange Days' and I'm sure those were strange days to say the least. Then I started thinking about the music of our generation, with Britney, "bling-bling" and boy bands. There's no soul there. It's hollow. And that's why we named the band Hollow Days, it's a statement about our culture."

The guys in Hollow Days sincerely appreciate your interest in the band, thanks for checking out the website. Feel free to download some tunes and sign up for the mailing list. See ya at the next show!
